End-to-end network model
As part of the Smallworld Network Inventory portfolio for telecommunications providers and network operators, Physical Network Inventory (PNI) offers a complete and accurate representation of the physical network – from the signal feed-in to the customer connection. It supports multiple topological levels:
- Route and duct networks
- Cable infrastructure
- Signal-carrying components
This provides network operators with an accurate and up-to-date view of the entire network structure at all times.
By integrating indoor and outdoor network data into a central database, PNI enables a cross-technology, spatially based and consolidated view of the network. The network model can be visualised, analysed and edited at every level.
