COMIT
Migration of data within a single Smallworld database or between different Smallworld databases.
- Migration of 1:1 copies (e.g. due to new system constraints; objects, geometries, dimensions) through to complex transfers between databases with different structures.
- Object conversions: Objects are structurally transformed or renamed; geometries are converted.
- Field conversions: Attributes are mapped to fields with different names and types; conversion of field contents.
- Merging and splitting tables: Merging data into a single table or splitting it into multiple tables (structurally and functionally).
- Repeatability of the migration process.
