PSS®SINCAL Interface
The PSS®SINCAL interface processes and exports the power data documented in Smallworld GIS for use in PSS®SINCAL calculations, thereby avoiding duplicate data storage, speeding up calculations and improving efficiency. The results are interpreted and utilised further directly within SINCAL, making use of its full range of functions.
The integration of renewable energy sources into existing medium- and low-voltage grids increasingly requires grid calculations based on GIS data updated daily. Regular data export is therefore essential. The PSS®SINCAL interface supports you in this; it is preconfigured for the Smallworld Electricity module and efficiently transfers the GIS data to the PSS®SINCAL network calculation programme.
- Preparation of the logical network units, relevant equipment and loads depicted in the GIS for the calculation
- Export to the target database as an initial full export or as a continuous differential update
- Output in Access- or SQLite-based format
- Support for as-built plans, overview plans and schematic plans, as well as the internal layouts of, for example, substations, stations and switchgear
- Editing of configuration settings via an exportable and importable CSV file
