FlexConnect
The FlexConnect product connects your GIS to adjacent systems and enables the simple and efficient display of external geodata within the GIS without the need for physical import or export. For certain formats, it is also possible to edit the external data directly within Smallworld.
With the help of FlexConnect, external data – such as planning areas, tree or solar registers, or broadband data from other GIS systems; data from the environmental agency in an open-source GIS; and base map models using ALKIS or OpenStreetMap from a PostGIS database – can be visualised in the GIS alongside your networks. However, you can also create your own data models in one of the supported databases and use FlexConnect to integrate the data managed there into your Smallworld system, where it can be directly entered and modified.
