3D Importer
Use survey results directly in GIS: With the 3D Importer, you can easily and conveniently import and visualise survey data, including Z-values, in Smallworld GIS.
When importing survey data in ASCII format, the structures and functions of this import tool are precisely tailored to the 3D point model used by the specialist modules, which utilise the cross-disciplinary object class ‘Measure’.
- Documentation of the true location and elevation of assets
- Efficient use of the NRM specialist module standard for electricity, gas, water and pipe management
- Assignment of the imported data to the cross-sector object class “Measure”
- Mapping of 3D points to assets/longitudinal sections
