3D Network Model
Using the 3D network model, you can create and visualise a three-dimensional model of your network directly within Smallworld GIS, based on technical layer data and a digital terrain model, and navigate through it interactively. Visualising the actual location of your assets gives you a completely new perspective on your GIS data.
The 3D mesh model visualises pipes and conduits, as well as buildings, structures and the ground surface, and includes 3D measurement functions and 3D model export. You can navigate the model dynamically, changing the viewing angle and elevation at any time.
- 3D model generation using 3D points or standard laying depth
- Component generation based on technical attributes
- Base model data: Smallworld DGM (terrain surface) and ALKIS module (buildings, parcels, roads)
- Navigation within the 3D model via rotation, tilt, pan and zoom; free setting of the rotation/tilt point; home view
- Virtual excavation pit for viewing beneath the surface
- Object interaction: display of the selected object in the object editor
- Jump from the object on the 2D map to the 3D model
- 3D measurement function in space
- 3D model export in Graphics Language Transmission Format (glTF)
